Hi everyone, I need help understanding why my rotor is vibrating. I’ve done everything I can think of: checked the bearings, tried to find the heavy spot, and still, it’s vibrating. Any ideas?
Yes, they can be very helpful. A strobe light can help you see if there’s a specific point that’s causing the vibration, and a vibration analyzer can give you more detailed information on the frequency and amplitude of the vibrations. Sometimes, the issue can be something subtle that’s hard to see with the naked eye. The best thing here is to do rotor balancing, this can be done with specific equipment, or should i call balancing equipment
